Purpose

Manage and oversee all welding-related activities to ensure compliance with HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality) standards and project requirements. This includes enforcing HSE policies, reviewing and approving welding procedures, providing technical assurance, and conducting inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT). Ensure that welding qualifications and plans meet industry standards, resolve technical issues, and manage interfaces with other project disciplines. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of welding technologies and standards, support installation activities, and document and report on welding operations to drive progress and uphold high-quality standards.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the availability of technical documentation, supporting logistics for equipment loadout and transportation, reviewing and providing input on procedures, and supervising activities at the EPC-3 Local Service Base. The role requires collaboration with various teams to resolve quality issues, ensure compliance with project requirements, and provide timely updates on project progress. Travel to fabrication sites, OEM facilities, and offshore vessels in the Gulf of Guinea is required.
